AMAZING SCIENCE
Grades 4 to 6
Semester Fee: $64
Class Size: Min. 6, Max. 15
Fall - Human Body/Anatomy. This class will focus on the systems of the body with 2 to 3 weeks spent on each system. No text will be required. Class time will be spent in dissecting, experiments, hands-on time using medical equipment and models of some systems, microscope use and the labeling and coloring of structures to complete a human body flip book. Homework will consist of studying for a quiz given on each session on the system and the uses in our bodies. Study information will be sent home. When studying science or any other subject, we’ll take the opportunity to point back to God and His design, creation, plan, and hand in all we encounter. Spring - Physical Science. This includes magnets, electricity, simple machines, inventions and lots of fun things.
 
AMAZING SCIENCE

Semester Fee: $55
Class Size: Min. 5, Max. 15
First semester we will have a lot of fun while learning about the human body. Students will make a cut-out of their body and add organs they they have colored and labeled. Do you know why haircuts don’t hurt, or exactly where your food goes after you eat? Your child will after this class. Second semester we will cover physical science which will include machines, electricity, gravity, friction, cars, trains, steam engines, etc.
REQUIRED MATERIALS: scissors, glue sticks, pencils, and colored pencils are a must.
 
ANIMAL SCIENCE
Grades K to 1
Semester Fee: $55
Class Size: Min. 5, Max. 15
We will be studying vertebrates and invertebrates. Children will learn the basic differences between mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, and amphibians. In class we will do an art project to go along with each animal. No homework required.
