2025-2026 Season Rockford F.I.R.E. Boys' Basketball Preseason Training
The Rockford F.I.R.E. boys' basketball preseason training is intended for eligible homeschool athletes who are planning to tryout and play for the Rockford F.I.R.E.

9/2, 9/4, 9/9, 9/11, 9/15, 9/18, 9/23, & 9/25 (No training on 9/16)

Bring a water bottle, designated basketball shoes, and a basketball

No athlete (even returning players) will be permitted to tryout without the completion of a waiver.

All athletes must agree to and adere to our Hallstrom Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.

Preseason training will help condition athletes for the coming season as well help them fine tune their skills.

Marcus Posely with NXT LVL will direct the sessions. Rockford F.I.R.E. boys' basketball coaches will be there to assist.

There will be an additional, yet affordable, fee to be paid directly to Marcus Posely for the training. Pricing coming soon!
Times:
5-6:30 PM for 12U & 14U Eligible Players
6:30-8 PM for JV and Varsity Eligible Players

Mission Statement:
Our athletic program strives to develop homeschool athletes spiritually and physically, while boosting confidence and emphasizing integrity, teamwork, and perseverance. We seek to honor God through athletic competition by promoting character development, good sportsmanship, and a commitment to excellence. We believe sports provide an opportunity for athletes to grow in faith, discipline, and service, and are an opportunity to glorify God as athletes grow in their faith.

F.I.R.E. Vision:
We aim to use sports as a platform for teaching biblical principles of teamwork, perseverance, and grace, while empowering our athletes to become leaders who represent Christ in every aspect of their lives.
Eligibility:

Players must be at least 51% homeschooled.

A 16 years of age (and under) player on August 1st is considered eligible to play in the 16U/JV age group.

A player who is 18 (and under) on August 1st is eligible to play in the 18U/Varsity age group.

At the coaches' discretion, and with parent approval, players may be invited to play in a higher age group
