Unfortunately, Hallstrom academic classes are full for the 2023-2024 school year. We are unable to accomodate more new students. If you would like to be contacted about the 2024-2025 year, please apply by clicking the "Join" link at the top right corner and filling out the application which will put you on the waiting list. Applications will be kept on file for one year. We will contact you when we begin interviews for 2024-2025. If you are only applying for sports for the 2023-2024 year, please note that on the application. Thank you.
Hallstrom Home School Workshops (Hallstrom) offers over 100 classes pre-K through high school. Prospective new families are encouraged to visit on a Tuesday before registration to view classes and meet Hallstrom teachers and families. An appointment for a new family interview can be set up when visiting or by emailing our New Family Coordinator at [email protected].
If you feel like Hallstrom is a good fit for your family, the next step would be to complete the application, which you may do at any time. That is found by clicking the "Join" link at the very top of this page. Once you have completed the application, you are added to the waiting list for the next school year and our New Family Coordinator will reach out to you to schedule an interview.
Parents must read and agree with the Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith to be familiar with policies and expectations before applying to Hallstrom. This information is available on our website under the Documents tab.
Home school families/students who want to participate on a Rockford FIRE sports team should read and agree with the Hallstrom Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith, and fill out a Hallstrom Application under the Join link. You will then be contacted to schedule a family interview. In addition, students must meet the Rockford FIRE Eligibility Requirements (linked under Rockford FIRE tab). Students are NOT required to attend Tuesday classes in order to participate in a Rockford FIRE sport.
